We are situated in County Durham in North East England and we have over 30 members, ranging from novice divers to those with over 25 years experience, all brought together by their passion for diving.
Our local diving takes place from Redcar to Eyemouth and St Abbs in the Scottish Borders; we have trips to various other UK sites and usually a couple of trips a year abroad diving.
It matters not what you’re experience is, we teach anyone from the age of 14+ from scratch to elementary diver, open water diver, club diver, dive leader and beyond to instructors and dive masters. The SAA also offers supplementary courses on a variety on diving interests, from first aid to photography.
We are non - profit making club, we simply exist to make diving enjoyable and accessible for all our members in a safe and friendly environment. We meet at Newton Aycliffe Leisure Centre every Thursday evening at the Pool for 9pm and in the bar afterwards at 10pm
